EDEL WEG (2) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just half a length from the winner in second over 1600m at this track. Continues to improve so anticipating another big run. EIGEN HAARD (13) knuckled down strongly to get within a nose of the winner in second last start over 1400m at Chukyo when coming back from a spell. Fitter and is among the leading chances. PASSCODE (11) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 12 starts. Was again denied last start when she found one better over 1600m at Chukyo. Hard to beat in this suitable race. YAEGIRI (1) finished third over 1800m at this track at her most recent appearance on December 27. Has found a nice race to launch this campaign.
