Eagle Farm   18 Apr 2026

GOING: S(5)

HEART OF THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION BENCHMARK 70 Handicap 1000m

Track: Soft 5   Clear (Max: 28)   Rail: +1m Entire. (Pent: 6.07)

Sizzling pace from Tarps, Viale and All Adore locking horns ahead of Surprise Honey and Bonfire Spark. Hard to rule any of these out. MANUKAU (9) has not raced since she closed well to get up for second over this distance at Warwick Farm on 4 March. Expect her recent Sydney midweek and NSW provincial form to stack up here. Drawn for a gun run and will be tough to hold out. BALANCE THE BOOKS (6) is back from an 18-week break. Scored comfortably in midweek grade over this course and distance to launch the last campaign. Lightly raced mare who has won three from four and should be in for her best prep yet. BONFIRE SPARK (8) has enjoyed a six-week let-up since a handy second in a BM75 over this track and distance. Cruised home in a recent Beaudesert trial. Needs to work a bit to cross from a wide alley but should be highly competitive. ALL ADORE (11) bolted in at the Sapphire Coast last start as warm favourite. This is a tougher assignment but trust the Olive camp has her in the right race. CHALICE WELL (3) could not have been more impressive last time and is in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Manukau on top but this is tricky.
