MOON SWEEPER (6) put the writing on the wall last start when second-up from a spell, making up many lengths to finish third in a similar race to this at Doomben. Very fit and will enjoy the long run home here. Ready to win. MAKE A CALL (1) made a late charge but just came up short over 1820m here a fortnight ago. Back in trip but does have a decent record at the mile. Consistent five-year-old who should be competitive again. CANBERRA LEGEND (2) is yet to win in Australia. Battled on okay to just miss the placings over this course and distance last time. Down in class and at the third run back should be getting near his peak. AMUSEANTES (7) is new to the trip but she did put in the big strides late last start over 1400m here. Worth an each-way investment. Last start Doomben winner DON'TCHA THINK (14) goes up in grade but is rarely far from the money. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Moon Sweeper.
