Lots of speed predominantly from Mayfair Street, Sir Richie and Spellbound. OUT OF THE BLUE (1) has been freshened up since being a late scratching at the barriers in early March. He won his first 2 starts in his initial prep, and then was placed twice in 3 starts earlier in the year at stakes level. He was given the all clear after a recent trial, and with Opie Bosson back in the irons, he will be ready to rumble. INCANDESCENT (2) followed up his easy debut win with 3 solid efforts in tougher fields, including a last start third at Pukekohe nearly a month ago. He likes it wet, and he can take this out. SO FEAR (6) won her debut by a nose, and then stepped up sharply in class to win again by a neck. She is bred to get even better with time, so a hat-trick of wins is not beyond her. SPELLBOUND (4) made progress without winning in his initial prep, and he resumes with an easy trial win under his belt. A good gate will help him, and he is right up to winning this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Out Of The Blue can win, and also watch Spellbound.
