Decent sized field but it lacks any obvious pace. Competitive. PAPPIANA (5) was an easy CL2 winner at Inverell from the speed and then was expected to win at Mudgee following but was plain carrying 10.5kg more than today. Races forward and no surprise to see her bounce back. NEVER BIRD (13) raced more forward and was narrowly beaten in a CL1 at Bathurst, returning to her best. Has a wide barrier but she will be right in it holding the form. ONLY NEED ONE (14) rates similarly on her near miss at Narrandera. The draw is awkward, but 2x winning rider Cahill is reunited, and she also has winning claims.
INFINITE PRINCE (15) found his best form missing a whisker here. Keeps the handy 3kg claim and he's also a decent chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Pappiana.
