Genuine pace with Brullen finding the front from his low draw. BRULLEN (2) rediscovered something like his best last start, which coincided with a drop back to 58 grade from higher-quality assignments where he was not a factor. Appreciated being aggressively ridden and came again after looking beaten midway down the straight to go down in a photo finish. He'll give them something to catch on speed. OWL WITNESS (3) made light work of a rise in grade last start, making it back-to-back wins and overcoming interference to do so. No reason he can't complete the hat-trick. ROYAL TRAPEZE (1) was well held first up, but was only beaten a length last time out and looks primed for a peak performance here. ALPINOVA (11) hasn't featured at her past three, but they were all on Heavy ground and she might appreciate firmer footing here. SUGGESTED PLAY: Brullen to win.
