Taisei Ricordo is likely to roll to the lead and set a decent tempo. TAISEI RICORDO (2) was well fancied last time but found a couple better at Kokura, finishing 2 lengths adrift at the end of 2000m. Will appreciate the extra ground. Expected to go very well. FIRM TWENTY (3) finished fourth when resuming two runs back then progressed nicely last time out to score by a neck over 2400m at this track when he produced a huge finish. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the key runners. SATONO SOTIRAS (8) returned from a spell three weeks ago when he was prominent at the bend before being beaten 5 lengths into fourth over 2200m at this track. Fitter this time. Hard to beat in this suitable race. GO JOHNNY GO (6) finished midfield when resuming from a break last start over 2600m at Kokura, beaten 6 lengths when in the market. Capable of featuring.
