Super Lad and Texan Windstorm to take up the running at a strong tempo. CASH (4) couldn't find his best up north but got back on track in his home state last start when closing off nicely into the placings behind the smart Shadhavar. Looks well suited rising to the 1400m. Bold showing anticipated. HOT DIGITY BOOM (1) was a determined winner over this trip two back at Cranbourne in what has turned into a strong form race. Less effective over the mile at Flemington, so the return to 1400m in an easier assignment is ideal. 2kg claim helps. TAPINFORPAR (9) rattled home to just miss here two back in a red hot form race. Disappointed last start on soft ground when clearly below his best. Worth forgiving. SUPER LAD (2) was a brave winner fresh at headquarters when leading throughout. Pulled up lame last start when tailing out, so happy to overlook. Holder sticks third-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Cash to win. Each-way saver Tapinforpar.
