Beats Of War has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. ROMMEL'S GODDESS (8) went back from the draw last week and closed soundly to be 2L from the winner. On the quick turnaround here, but the key is the inside draw today. Out to 1400m, but her record at this track and trip is good and a return to her best will see her hard to hold out. HARLEQUIN PRANCER (7) made it four in a row at Esperance last time out and comes to town now. She should get her chance from the barrier and while this is tougher, her recent figures stack up. Can feature. PRECIOUS GOD (10) got the job done last time out and can repeat the dose without surprising. BEST OF THE GODS (11) is better than he showed last start and won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rommel's Goddess can get back to winning ways.
