Raced twice in his maiden campaign and wasn't far away on either occasion including the last run when second over 2000m at Hanshin. Should take a lot from that first preparation and can go on with it this time in work. DARLING DARLING (2) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations first-up at Kyoto, finishing sixth and beaten 11 lengths over 2000m. Hard to beat in this suitable race. KURSAAL (16) is a three-year-old filly on debut from the stable of Hidenori Take. By Contrail from Opera Dame. Expected to feature. A SHIN WHISPER (9) has raced twice. Was third on debut then clocked-in 6 lengths from the winner in 11th last time out over 2000m at Kokura. Backmarker who keeps coming. Well placed and can feature in the finish.
