SPE LUCE (10) was well fancied when resuming last start over 1600m at this track when second, beaten 3 lengths. Commendable record at this trip with a win and two minor placings and is sure to play a big role. G T SHINDO (5) is a promising colt yet to miss the frame after two starts, including a win. Is at the races for the first time since he finished third over 1600m at this track on January 4. Likely to go forward from a nice draw. Likely to feature. MOR NIKE (12) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fifth, beaten 5 lengths, over 1600m in the G3 Daily Hai Queen Cup at Tokyo. Should be peaking now and is among the main hopes. DAYTONA CHAMP (11) is back from a spell of 11 weeks. Won on debut at the only appearance last prep, scoring in a 1600m contest at this track by a nose. Big run is likely.
