Strong pace from Geostorm, Rager and Gwennybegg, with Kisses For Jody and Tillman on their heels. Tough. LUCILAGO (4) got a long way back and didn't do a bad job beaten 3.5 lengths over 1300m at Hawkesbury in a CL1 two weeks ago. This is grades easier and the longer sprint will suit. She raced well enough at this track before his last spell, and she is well placed to win. GEOSTORM (5) had been racing well with five placings on end before flopping at Wagga this trip, where he didn't have the best of it. Goes well here and Owen is reunited. Gets another chance. TILLMAN (7) has been within range at Wagga in 58s his last two over 1400m. He has raced well at this track and can make the finish. THE PREDICTOR (1) was in the market at Wagga but was slow to begin and wide later. Fitter and has more to give. Some hope if he can sit handier. RAGER (2) has a low gate and 2kg claim and won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lucilago appeals most.
