Strong tempo from Corvus crossing from an outside gate, with High Road also pushing up. CORVUS (13) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt in a tougher race. Has a wide gate to overcome but he should be in the finish again. HIGH ROAD (5) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt, beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth after being prominent at the turn. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. NOW OR NEVER (9) finished 6 lengths from the winner in fifth last start over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt, an improvement on his eighth at Kyoto Dirt the run before. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SUNRISE JUDGE (10) faced the starter for the first time and finished seventh last start at Hanshin Dirt over 1800m, beaten 5 lengths. Will take a lot from that last run and is worth following up.
