Without an obvious leader, it may be left to Moral Turpitude, Ex Machina and Prince Pinot to control the tempo. PRINCE PINOT (4) has only won one of 21 starts, is yet to hit the frame first-up and this is well short of his best, but he could not have hoped to find a better race to resume in. Has had two jumpouts in preparation for this and looks set to run his best race yet fresh. WINGS OF CARMEN (6) is yet to find the winners' list this time in work but has two placings from four outings this preparation and while this is slightly tougher than recent assignments, at least he's been around the mark. MORAL TURPITUDE (1) was outclassed in a couple of runs immediately after breaking the maiden but was narrowly beaten the start prior in a similar class race to this, so must respect along with SINHALESE (2) who should get his chance from the inside draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Prince Pinot each way.
