FIRST EMPIRE (12) is a consistent conveyance who has only missed a drum once in six career starts to date and that was a close-up fourth here two back. Gets in on the minimum weight and looks to have plenty of upside. Hard to toss. Former Victorian TEN DEEP (3) has been right there in both runs since joining the new stable and should find this easier than what she faced down south. Right in this contest. ZOUFANI (8) has a win and a second from two attempts over this course and distance and only needs some luck navigating from the sticky draw to be playing a major role in the finish. THE ENCHANTER (1) resumes here but has revved up for this with a recent trial and must be respected out of the Freedman barn. Can run a race while fresh. SMEXY (6) next in line.
