Pace looks strong with Multinational pushing forward while Avoidance kicks up on the inside. Time for the Grandstand Cup now and FAST FLICKER (5) is very appealing off a narrow defeat last time out. She can tend to dip third-up into her campaign, though this shapes beautifully for her once again with Steve Parnham reuniting. Gets a few things in her favour today and she can go one better. BONJOY (3) won the Bunbury Stakes impressively first-up when launching from the back of the pack. She'll be right back in the run once again for CJP, but her second-up record is outstanding and it would be no surprise to see her repeat the dose. AVOIDANCE (7) bolted in at Bunbury last start when leading throughout under McGruddy. This looks to shape nicely for him off the inside and with no weight on his back. Can see him being in this for a very long way. ESSENTRIC NATURE (10) was behind Avoidance last time out but drops plenty of weight and can go one better. ELITE MISSILE (9) is sure to be flying late in the race. SUGGESTED PLAY: Fast Flicker goes on top.
