Strong tempo assured from Vol Ster and Grail Quest leading the charge. DRAGON (9) drew off the track latest and covered ground before fading late into fourth. All the way winner this trip the start prior. Take catching off a better draw. BROOKLYN DANCE (11) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then was beaten 4.5 lengths when seventh in a 1800m contest at Kyoto Dirt seven weeks ago. This is a nice drop in grade so he is a major player. GRAIL QUEST (7) ran a bold race over this journey last time, leading for much of the way before fading out of it late to finish 2.5 lengths away in fifth at this track. Will give a sight again. PRINSESSA (3) is yet to feature this prep. Missed the placings, beaten 4 lengths, two runs ago when resuming over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt then failed to complete the course last time out at this track.
