Pace only fair with Delago Serg rolling to the lead ahead of Zouwase and Hard Grunt. HARD GRUNT (5) finished third at Canberra two runs back over 1600m and had an excuse last time over the same trip at Wagga. Arrives here on a 9-day return, so all must be in order. He will use the inside barrier and is well placed. FEEDBACK (2) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 0.8 lengths away in third over 1460m at this track. Krogh is off the above to ride and the local has the ability to take this out. ZOUWASE (3) is a likely improver and Owen is reunited. Suited over this distance and can get into the placings at least. EDIKA (4) showed improvement two back at Nowra and gives every indication the 1600m will suit. SON O' WAR (6) comes back in trip and went well enough at Goulburn two back to keep onside.
