MACLEAY (1) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over the mile at Dubbo, finishing second and beaten a long neck after being in contention on the bend. Gets some weight off with the claim and can go one better this time. FLAMBOYANT LAD (4) was in the placings when a length back from the winner last start at Muswellbrook and is down in weight this time. Sure to go close if runs up to the mark. ROTHGATE (3) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and was prominent for a long way before fading to finish fourth over 1100m at Dubbo. Strips fitter third-up and is among the hopes. DIVINE SINNER (6) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up solidly to finish fifth over 1400m at Dubbo. Worth including. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Macleay.
