LAY CLASSIC (16) has not been sighted since she finished eighth over 2000m at Kyoto on January 17. Wound up strongly and placed only fresh run. Wide gate but looks hard to hold out. KATHMANDU GOLD (5) is yet to break through in four runs. Finished fourth at her last appearance over 2000m at Kokura on January 31. Finds a suitable assignment this time and is a great chance to break through. REAL (12) made her debut last start at a big quote but defied the market to grab third, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 2000m at Kokura. Must be included among the main hopes. LUX CANDY (3) returns after three months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fourth over 1800m at Hanshin. Rates highly on best form and a bright return wouldn't surprise.
