Clutch Slugger, Thisavros and King's Tale to roll forward and set up a solid tempo. DON'T TESTA MASTER (9) is a two-start maiden who placed on debut then could only manage fifth last start, beaten 5 lengths over 2200m at Kyoto. Wound up late last time in a good form race. Key chance expected to feature. CLUTCH SLUGGER (4) was in the firing line on the corner and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 2000m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Likely improver with strong prospects. KING'S TALE (3) did a good job last start to finish third at this track over 2000m, beaten one length. Cherry-ripe now. Yet to find winning form this prep but has been thereabouts with two placings from three starts. One of the main contenders. THISAVROS (7) wasn't far off maiden success before a nine weeks break, finishing the prep with a minor placing at Kyoto Dirt. Expect he has come on over the break. Rates highly on best form and a bright return wouldn't surprise.
