St Kilda is expected to lead at a keen tempo. SHACKTIME (5) is edging her way towards an overdue second win, and she was running on strongly from the rear of the field when finishing second as the favourite at Otaki 4 weeks ago. She will have plenty of time to wind up in this dog-leg course, and she can have the last say this time. DAZZ (3) has continued to race well this season, and he will have Bruno Queiroz back in the saddle this time. Dropping back from 1400m to 1200m will do him no harm, and he has top 3 claims again. FANCYPANTS (4) broke through for a well-deserved and overdue win at New Plymouth just over 5 weeks ago. If he runs up to that form here, then he can repeat the dose. KERETI (1) is a consistent gelding who has found it hard to win another race. He has been placed 3 times on this course, and won't mind it wet. Watch the market moves. MAROTIRI MARSTA (2) motored home from a long way back when finishing second fresh up at Tauherenikau 16 days ago. The extra 200m will suit him, so go again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Shacktime can win this, and Marotiri Marsta can provide some value.
