Observer should be able to comfortably find the front. AUTUMN BOY (2) this looks his target race third-up, and worth noting he got the better of Observer when winning the G1 Caulfield Guineas over 1600m in the Spring. Raced close to the speed and was no match for the untapped Sheza Alibi when second in the G1 Randwick Guineas over 1600m. Can sit a pair back today and return to winning form. OBSERVER (1) chasing his fifth-straight win and returned where he left off after winning the Victorian Derby last November. Likely leader yet to be tested on anything worse than a good track. Hard to catch. VICTORIOUS SPIRIT (5) closed late from back in the field with a tidy fourth to Observer over 1600m in the G1 Australian Guineas at Flemington. Capable of testing these with his good staying pedigree. BINGI (8) another who took the next step when fifth in the G1 Australian Guineas. Cross-over nose band goes on with the key jockey change. Place best. FEDERALIST (6) eligible for Maiden grade and the G2 Phar Lap placing had merit last Saturday. SUGGESTED PLAY: Autumn Boy can get the better of Observer.
