Only a small field with Ourgirlcanrun likely to find a comfortable lead. OURGIRLCANRUN (7) wasn't beaten far in the Burgess Queen before tackling the Champion Fillies before the break. She was a dominant winner over this trip three starts ago and her trial coming into this was solid. Blinkers go back on and she'll take plenty of catching. EXCESS BAGGAGE (4) steps back up to 1200m today after a 0.2L defeat when back to 1000m last time out. She closed off strongly behind an in-form horse and now Chris Parnham hops on board. Looks well placed here and she's sure to make her presence felt. COUNTRY GOD (1) flew home in a similar race at Bunbury second-up when only 1.6L off the winner. Riordan's 3kg claim comes in handy and he can sit closer this time around. Wouldn't surprise to see him raise the bar now. SWINGMAN (2) got the job done in a photo at Bunbury last time out and he'll be up on the speed again from a good draw. Can be in this for a long way. GOD'S CROSS (3) flew late behind Swingman last start and has to be included on that formline. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ourgirlcanrun can return with a bang.
