GOING: G(3)

GO RACING & COCHRANES FARM MACHINERY RATING 75 1200m

Track: GOOD 3     Out 8m to the 1000m then Out 10m to the WP

Certain to be a strong tempo with Graeme John, Claudius Maximuss and Spartan leading the charge. FIRST DANCE (13) has been racing well enough in the North Island without winning this season, and has since relocated to join the Terri Rae stable, who usually get immediate results with similar types. She will find this company suitable, and with some luck from a wide gate, she can win a race like this, especially if the money comes for her. AMERICAN LIAISON (8) makes his NZ debut off a long break. He normally takes a run, but does look to be very well placed at this level. Check and follow any market moves. IRON HAWK (12) fought hard for second when making his local debut after shifting from Sydney earlier in the year. He cops a tough gate, but can go one better. TRADER (3) is in terrific form, and he has to be respected. SUGGESTED PLAY: First Dance can win, but keep a close eye on American Liaison in the yard.
