CENTENARY CLUB OPEN MAIDEN 1600m Track: GOOD Clear (Max: 24) |

Kituba and Pacific Waters have the pace to take up the running at a solid tempo. PACIFIC WATERS (9) ran below expectations when fresh from a spell at Kenilworth over 1600m last time, finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths. Will find this easier. Fitter and expected to improve sharply. KITUBA (2) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 2.75 lengths when fifth over 1200m at Kenilworth three-and-a-half weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. VIXENS WAR (4) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest at Kenilworth over 1800m. Expected to run well again. SPIRIT OF NICAL (5) was beaten 3 lengths into fourth over 1600m at Kenilworth three-and-a-half weeks ago. Has her share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
