Eagle Farm   21 Mar 2026

GOING: S(5)

KARMO QTIS Two-Year-Old Handicap 1000m

Track: Soft 5   Rain (Max: 27)   Rail: +4.5m Entire. (Pent: 6.05)

Tricky one to map with a number of debutants but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. The babies kick us off. ON THE CLOCK (1) couldn't have been more impressive winning by seven lengths at Toowoomba last time out and will have derived a stack of confidence from that dominant victory. Drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and can go back-to-back without surprising. NIGHT MARKET (8) was well in the betting on debut but let supporters down on that occasion. Where there's smoke there's fire and is capable of sharp improvement. EVER SO READY (2) shed the maiden tag when facing the starter for the first time before being tipped out for further time to furnish. Keep very safe while fresh. SUBSIDING (9) is at the races for the first time but has shown ability at the trials and any market confidence must be noted. SUGGESTED PLAY: On The Clock to win again.
