A solid tempo on the cards with Sagunto taking charge. LOCH IN ORA (6) will find this easier than her last couple of starts, and she also starts from a superior draw. She normally races well on this course, and she looks to be nicely placed at the weights. A form reversal is expected, BRIDAL TRAIN (5) has been racing well this season, and followed up her third in the Taranaki Cup with a narrow defeat at Otaki 4 weeks ago. She has winning form on this track, and she can go one better. WHAT YOU WISH FOR (1) has raced his way back into some good form, with a Taupo Cup win in his penultimate start, and then charging home too late last time out in stakes company at Ellerslie 7 weeks ago. This is easier, and if he doesn't need the run, he can figure in the top 3 again. OUR JUMALA (2) was well beaten in the Cuddle Stakes here nearly 3 weeks ago, but is worth another chance at this level, especially if the track is heavy. SAGUNTO (3) likes to make his own rules in front, and if he gets a soft time, then he would be hard to peg back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Loch In Ora can win this.
