Peecee Pussycat is likely to roll to the lead and set a decent tempo. KINDLING SPARK (6) should have no more excuses fourth up from a spell, and she will appreciate stepping up a further 400m from her last start at Wingatui 6 days ago. She is nicely placed to take this out. INDIE ARDIE (4) fought on courageously when finishing fourth in the Dunedin Gold Cup at Wingatui 3 weeks ago over 2400m. She has come a long way this prep and is good enough to figure in the top 3 here, despite the weight rise. MOUSSAIEFF (5) can be rather hard to catch, and did not show much might fight after copping a check here last time out. He will relish racing over 2600m, and is worth another chance. HENRY THOMAS (7) is a very promising lightly tried 5YO gelding, who was only beaten by a length as the favourite here last time out. He may not have appreciated the heavy track that day, and he can make amends in this. Follow your money. PEECEE PUSSYCAT (1) won't lack fitness, and he is likely to make the early running. He has been placed over the trip, and is always a chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kindling Spark to win.
