Frostisen and Bold And Blazen have the pace to take up the running at a solid tempo.
BE QUIET (5) had been struggling in town earlier this prep but responded well to the drop in grade last start when beaten narrowly over this distance at Tuncurry. Has been to Kembla twice and won both times. Great chance to enhance that record. DANCES WITH HOOVES (2) is first-up from a short spell for the local Price stable. Opened last prep with a placing in a $50k quality sprint over this distance at Tamworth. Not seen at the trials since her last run three months ago. Betting a key indicator. LOS PADRES (1) made late ground to get up for third when fresh from a spell over 1100m at Hawkesbury recently. An extra 100m on a bigger track second-up looks a nice scenario. BOLD AND BLAZEN (9) led but found one better close to home when resuming over this course and distance last time out. Should give a good account again. ME ME (10) goes well here over 1200m as a rule and with a bit of weight relief today can run a bold race. SUGGESTED PLAY: Be Quiet each-way in a tough race to close proceedings.
