Plenty of pace with Gin And Bare It, One More Dance and Greenwich all pushing forward from their low draws. GIN AND BARE IT (8) stuck to her task well enough when finishing fourth at Te Aroha just over 3 weeks ago on a heavy track when chasing a hat-trick of wins, and with the aid of the pole position, she can return to winning form. ERIN GO BRAGH (2) set the pace and raced too keenly when resuming at Ellerslie 3 weeks ago, and he will be a lot tighter in his condition for this. He cops a kinder draw, and is expected to be a top 4 chance in this. LAURA'S LEGACY (11) was heavily backed fresh up on her home track at New Plymouth 3 weeks ago, and gave her supporters no cause for concern when cruising home to score by more than a length. She has the scope to repeat the dose. AKSIL (3) resumes from a spell after showing a stack of talent as a 3YO. He has been tuned up with a pair of trials, and will be ready to rumble fresh up. SUMOSAURUS (1) is a talented 7YO gelding who has had his share of issues, and a recent trial win suggests he is close to being race fit, so respect any market support. SUGGESTED PLAY: Erin Go Bragh each way.
