Pretty Devine to push forward on the fence and lead a race lacking pace. ADDICTIVE DREAM (5) gets top billing after a Carnarvon 3yo+ Class 1 win over 1200m, where she beat Magic Carats by just under a length and showed enough fight late to offset the plain run before it. She is already a two-time winner at the distance, which gives her the clearest profile among the main chances. LE TROY (6) is the harder read: recent 1400m form is modest, including a five-and-a-half length defeat at Junction, but the return to 1200m and the class set-up keep him in the discussion if he can find his better version. SWISHGOBANGO (2) has the most reliable current form after beating Costa Star in a 3yo+ Benchmark 48+ at Junction, and his one win and one placing from four tries at the trip are positives. DRAGONFLIES (9) brings distance credentials with three wins over 1200m, but his recent defeats mean he looks more like a value danger. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 5,6,2.
