Not much early pressure but Dixie Princess, Magnificent Mia and Al's Gal can take up forward spots. PRINCIPAL DEALER (7) sets the benchmark after a Broome second, beaten half a length, and the prior fourth there also had merit at long odds. The 18-start maiden record and wide draw keep the price honest, but she brings the clearest recent closing form. ANY QUESTIONS (1) is the main threat, race-fit and coming off a Carnarvon fourth over 1000m where he closed hard from a hopeless position. The rise to 1200m is the test, though the 4kg claim helps. RAYLANA (8) resumes for Kym Tilka after provincial runs at Kalgoorlie and Northam, and the class drop plus her distance rating make her dangerous despite plain recent finishes. AL'S GAL (10) returns after missing by a nose over 1400m at Carnarvon; she is lightly raced and progressive, but coming back to 1200m is the obvious query. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 7,1,8.
