Reasonable tempo with Hello Dolly Diva probably leading but a few others should keep her honest. GALWAY FLYER (13) never looked likely resuming at Doomben but got going late and went better than the form guide reads. Is sure to have come on from that and will eat up the added trip. Maloney taking over is another bonus. Stablemate BLUEPINOT (1) is knocking on the door and looks the immediate danger, though he has to do it under the big weight. Doesn't need to improve much to land the winning blow. DRACENA (12) has an interesting set-up, dropping sharply in trip with a month between runs. Goes well over this journey and can cause a late scare if the pace is genuine. LUTON HOO (2) is a distance specialist and gets help at the weights with the 2kg claimer engaged. Will be warming nicely. HELLO DOLLY DIVA (16) has built nicely into this prep and gets the chance to keep the ball rolling, though it will be interesting to see where she lands from the wide draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Galway Flyer to win.

His previous win here over Madalsa was decisive, scoring by two and a half lengths, and his overall record is excellent. Honest profile, but this Benchmark 70 is a sterner test. |
