Expecting a solid pace with King Of Valhalla, Dirty Harry and Captain Blood leading the charge. MAGIC INVADER (3) is on the doorstep of a maiden victory with consecutive runner-up finishes over this track and trip and this is not an overly strong affair. Has placed six of eight over this sprint journey and looks the one they all have to run down. KING OF VALHALLA (1) resumes here but the form he showed when last in work was good enough for a race of this nature. Can run a big race while fresh. The well-related TEXAS (5) (half to Listed winner and G3 placed Skirt The Law) is first-up but looked handy winning a recent trial and trust that Gollan has him up to the mark. Keep safe while fresh. CAPTAIN BLOOD (6) strips fitter second-up from the spell and gets in well at the weights with the 3kg claim. In the mix.
