From wide out Desert Waves can slide over and set up a genuine tempo. STREAK OF GOD (3) wound up strongly in the run home last start to register an impressive win over 1400m at this track. Has been in solid form this campaign with two wins to his name. Among the leading chances. SNOW GOD (1) was super in a good race first-up when heavily backed, which hinted he's come back well. Can go on with it here. STREAMLINED (9) sat on the pace and stuck on well to score by 2 lengths at this track and trip when resuming from a spell last start. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is up to the task. GOD'S GATE (6) has recently been thereabouts since scoring at Pinjarra on July 22, the latest effort a sixth over 1200m at this track. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. SUPIDO EXPRESS (7) drew wide last time and was safely held when 3 lengths away in fifth over this course and distance. Draws an outside gate again, but looks a great chance to bounce back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Streak Of God to win.
