NORTH GLORIA (2) sets the standard after a decisive three-length 3yo+ C2 win at Saga, and his previous second as a well-supported favourite gives that form a reliable base. G T NOBLE (3) is the nearest danger, having won by two lengths over 900m after a narrow fourth, although the return to 1400m asks her to convert consistent course-and-distance placings into a win. KASHINO HANZO (9) is better judged on his latest fifth, beaten just over three lengths, than the heavy defeat two runs back, and the rider-horse record adds interest. WEISS WITCH (6) resumes from a two-month break and returns to a distance where she has won, but she needs to sharpen off two fair recent efforts. North Gloria brings the clearest winning profile, with G T Noble the most credible threat.
