Genuine performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a win over 1200m at this track. Rates highly and another bold showing is expected. SCORCHED LAND (2) fought on for third last start over 1300m here, making it two minor placings in a row. Sits handy in the run. Going up a level this time but he deserves plenty of thought. I'M ZAC (5) missed the frame on dirt over 1400m at Muttaburra two back then filled a minor placing last start on turf over 1280m at Emerald. Nikki Olzard who has scored on him three times retains the mount. Should be involved in the finish. INQUISITIVE LEGEND (7) ran well below her best last time over 1200m at Morven, beaten 4 lengths into fourth at $2.30. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset and is sure to be thereabouts. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 3,2,5,7.
