Surfin' Bird should spear straight to the front of the small field. LAZZURA (1) carved out a solid set of figures first up with a fast finishing third in the G2 Sheraco Stakes over 1200m at this track. Has won three of her second-up starts and can tag the speed and put these away with the 58kg. GANGSTA GRANNY (4) ran below expectations first up, then sat on the speed and kept finding to secure second over 1200m in the G2 Sheraco Stakes. Yet to win at this trip and must be kept safe. MODELLA (8) sprouted wings late to get up in a tight finish over 1350m in the LR Mona Lisa Stakes at Wyong first up. Finds a tougher race today and must be kept safe. SURFIN' BIRD (6) stakes placed mare who can pull out a big run fresh from the low draw. Primed with the two trials and place claims look best. VERONA ROSE (3) eye catching return when third to Skyhook in the G2 Theo Marks. Respect. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lazzura looks to have come back even stronger over the break.
