Despite the wide draw Maria Bouquet should cross and set a genuine tempo. ROBERTA IMPACT (2) sets the standard after switching back to Saga and winning a 3yo+ C2 over 1400m by a length, with the merit in the way she quickened after having work to do. The prior Urawa failure over 2000m was plain, so consistency is the only real reservation, but her local track-and-distance record gives her the right profile. REVIDENT (1) is the safest form runner, having placed at her past two here, including a neck defeat to Mikki Gentle before again running second to Tortina. She lacks the last-start winning punch of Roberta Impact, but her record at this course and distance is hard to fault. FEB LINO (7) is the wildcard: still a maiden after 15 starts and coming off a poor Chukyo run, yet her fifth to God Eye two back reads well enough for this if the rise from 1200m is no issue. MARIA BOUQUET (11) has a clear bounce-back case off her 3yo+ C2 win over 900m, though the heavy last-start defeat at 1400m keeps her more as a place threat than a firm winning push.

Has held her form well with successive Saga seconds, the latest behind Tortina when beaten two and a half lengths after travelling right there and only holding on fairly. The start prior was stronger, leading and being run down late by Mikki Gentle by a neck at generous odds. Four wins and four places from ten at this track and distance is a major asset, and she looks a genuine winning player again. |

That was a firm response to being beaten over 13 lengths by Lumina Victor over 2000m at Urawa. With Shinsuke Ishikawa back aboard and one win and two places from four at this track and trip, she is the runner they have to beat. |

That was a better effort than his tenth in 3yo+ COND grade two back when beaten over 16 lengths by Ken Bridge Knight. His jockey-horse record is sound, but he profiles more as a place hope than a clear win candidate. |

A strong record with Takuto Demizu keeps her in the minor-money mix, but the latest run cannot be ignored. |

The 15-start maiden record and rise in trip are genuine queries, but this setup gives her a chance to improve sharply. |
