A solid tempo on the cards with Ken'ker leading the way. EXTREME MERGER (6) did little and finished 11 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1300m at Armidale last start, a less impressive effort than his sixth at Mendooran the run before. Beautifully placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. RIVALDO (3) is poised to win after placing at his last three outings, most recently when third over 1400m at Tamworth when he was always up in the leading division. Has the ability to figure prominently. DARLING TAKE CARE (11) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 25 starts. Was again denied last start when she found one better over 1220m at Barraba. This looks a sterner test but on her best form she is capable of a big performance. IT'S A WRITTEN (10) has not appeared since she finished 11th over 1200m at Inverell on July 18. Worth plenty of thought. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 6,3,11,10.
