A solid tempo on the cards with El Ultimo taking charge. ROLLINS (4) went for home early in the final straight here on the poly track 16 days ago over 2200m, and was only bloused on the line when looking all over the winner. He is at his peak now, and doesn't have to improve by much to go one better in this. On top. MINESHAFT (3) will continue to improve as the tracks get firmer, and he was a solid fourth in a tougher field than this here a fortnight ago. He benefits from a kilo claim, and should go close to taking this out. PRIVATE TREATY (6) took a while to win her maiden, and but did not take long to add another when scoring by a head here on the poly track just over 2 weeks ago. An extra 400m won't trouble her, and she can repeat the dose. PERSONA (5) has been mixing her form, and was not far away when finishing out of the money last time out on e heavy track here. Stick with her. FULL OF GUSTO (9) is always thereabouts whether in maiden grade or in open-class, so he is a must for all top 4 combos to be safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mineshaft each way, and quinella with Rollins.
