LEGAL DANCER (9) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1400m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. BART NEL (13) finished seventh on debut then improved last start but found a couple better over 1250m at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. FALLEN ASH (11) is a three-year-old gelding on debut. From an elite family that includes black type success, being by Futura from the former top race mare Ash Cloud. Looks set to make a positive start to his career despite a tricky gate. OCTOBER RUSH (6) has not raced since his debut on June 28 over 1200m at Scottsville when he finished eighth, beaten 9 lengths. Worth following up.
