WESTERN IMPACT (4) brings the most convincing current form, having won a 3yo+ Benchmark 56+ at Carnarvon by a head after being slow away and racing wide, with a second at the same venue immediately prior. That gives him the clearest winning platform. REPEATER (1) is the class-drop runner to respect, coming back from provincial 3yo+ Class 5 company at Bunbury and Pinjarra Scarpside, though his recent eighths mean the market needs some trust. SUNSHINE TAFE (6) has not won in the past 12 months but is proven at 1400m and was not disgraced behind Western Impact last time. BLOWIN' SMOKE (7) was a beaten favourite at Junction, yet his Carnarvon fourth before that reads well enough for a minor-money push if he rebounds. SUGGESTED PLAY: Western Impact can go back-to-back.
