Solid pace with Mermaid Skirt finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. HONEY LAURIER (6) is ready to win after another minor placing last start, finishing second over 1200m at this track when she was in the firing line all the way. Well placed and she deserves this. LAYOVER (13) returns from a layoff of six months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1400m at Tokyo. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. LA LA CEDRATIER (12) is a three-year-old filly by Leontes out of Ange Charmant stepping out on debut for the Hiroyasu Tanaka stable. Can measure up. Betting crucial. EXTRA CHARGE (10) was prominent at the bend and finished second last time over 1400m at Urawa, beaten 2.5 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is good enough to take this out.
