GOING: H(10)

DG FARRIERS HANDICAP 1200m

Track: HEAVY 10     True

Lots of speed predominantly from Bodacious Kate, Bolt and Stewart. TOLSTOY (3) has improved this prep and won his maiden here 2 starts back before finishing third on this track 18 days ago at this level. He can secure the right sort of run from a handy gate and can take this out. BELLA TIMING (5) finished runner-up behind a very smart type here fresh up just over 6 weeks ago. That form has since been franked, and if not in need of the run, then she can go one better. STEWART (2) capped off some improving form when breaking through for an overdue maiden win at Hawera 11 days ago, scoring by over 6 lengths. He has a superior gate this time, and can go right on with the job. KERETI (1) was beaten a a very short-priced favourite fresh up at Awapuni on the poly track there just over 3 weeks ago when resuming from a spell. He will improve quickly with racing, and his next win is not far away. BOLT (4) led all the way thanks to a track bias at New Plymouth last week. An extra 400m will make him hard to peg back again. MISS DIXIE (8) has rough place claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: If ready, then Bella Timing can take this out, but there are many chances.
