Slick tempo with Vancouver Bay to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. Tough. BLAZERRO (1) gets in well with the 3kg claim and was good just missing here in a 60 over a mile. He was having his first start since the switch from a NSW yard and will be better for it. He rates well and is worth another chance over a middle distance. FLOP TURN RIVER (13) has the advantage of the inside barrier and the leading jockey on replacing the apprentice. He's won 2/2 at this track and expect the longer distance to suit. Will be given every chance. CARACRISTI (12) has a wide gate but impressed easily winning a 58 here from the pace over 1800m. She'll fight out the finish holding that form. KINGS CASTLE (5) wasn't beaten far here over 1800m, improving again. He will get every hope from an inside barrier. MORDECAI (2) keeps racing well and is in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Blazerro can take this.
