Flying Animo, Kai Mondo and Woodstock Rock to battle for the lead at a strong tempo. FLYING ANIMO (10) led and blitzed the Townsville Maidens on debut and was immediately spelled. He was backed off the map again at Rockhampton first up and was beaten a whisker from the front. Keeps the handy 3kg claim and the promising galloper can go one better. WOODSTOCK ROCK (8) resumes for a sharp stable with the leading jockey sticking aboard. Brings strong form from Open 3s and flies at the track. He will use the inside gate and is feared. KAI MONDO (4) has had one blip in a string of decent efforts at Rockhampton and will push forward. He's in the mix. CRIMSON DECIPHER (13) has been plain in her two starts since the big CL1 win at Rockhampton but had an excuse last time. This grade suits better and improvement is likely. RICH AGAIN (1) maps well and won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Flying Animo.
