Estimator is the likely leader at a slick tempo. SANTANOVA (5) was just edged out across the line last start, but scored the win via DQ. She looks a nice filly on the way up despite not handling the Heavy track two starts ago. Can sit a touch closer today from a good barrier and can put her best foot forward. SIMPLY THINKIN' (1) got a long way back in the run last start at Pinjarra but got the job done by 0.5L when running over the top. He was close in this grade two back and Pike remains in the saddle. Needs some luck from the draw but he's good enough on his recent form. PLAYING GAMES (3) flew home from the back on resumption at Pinjarra, finishing 1.5L away in an eye catching performance. Drawn much better today, She can take closer order and put her best foot forward. SURF PATROL (13) is knocking on the door of another victory and is right in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Santanova can win the last.
