Strong tempo with Aberlour, Oh Diamond Lil and Uzziah leading the way. ABERLOUR (9) appreciated the quick backup and jump in trip when a tough on pace winner over 1800m at this track. Comes here in peak condition with the drop in weight and expected to go on with it now. OH DIAMOND LIL (4) undefeated over the mile but won't get all the favours today. Led throughout when scoring over the 1600m at this track two weeks ago. Jason Collett keeps the ride and sure to be thereabouts again. GREEN SHADOWS (3) the set up looks good today and can race closer with the good tempo anticipated. Struck trouble in the run when a plugging fifth over 1400m here. Nose roll goes on and due for a change of luck. UZZIAH (7) deep into his prep and meets Oh Diamond Lil better at the weights after running fifth over the 1600m here at latest. Capable of better. RUBY FLYER (1) big class drop here after resuming with a plugging eleventh over 1400m in the LR Winter Stakes at Rosehill. Will relish the fast tempo and look for him launching late with the claim. SUGGESTED PLAY: Aberlour gets her chance again.
